Me:
I graduated in 2005 with a BA in Computer Science from Boston University and worked for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington for 3 years on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. I am now back in Boston attempting to start a software company with Andrew Rollins.

I have two hobbies of note:

  • Software - I got my first computer in 1988 when I was 5 years old. An 8 MHZ 286 with a whopping 320K of RAM and a CGA video card. My playing with software began there and would include: Hacking up Gorilla and Nibbles with Microsoft’s QBasic, playing most of the The Apogee and ID side-scrollers such as Commander Keen and Duke Nukem 1 and of course, the shooters like Rise of the Triad, and dialing random phone numbers with my modem in hope of finding something exciting. This hobby grew with me and today I’m fortunate enough to be creating software for a living.
  • Motor Sports - A great balance to the intangible world of software. My motor sports hobby is mostly centered around the race track. I’ve had a little of everything, track bikes, track cars, muscle cars, GT cars, etc. Currently I am obsessed with cutting weight. My lightly track-prepped Miata is hovering a bit over 2000 pounds and my Stealth is almost unrecognizable as a street car. Check out the autoblog I contribute to for more: The Pansy Patrol
